Quality
Quality is kingnature’s top priority. We want to offer our customers the best food supplements and cosmetics of the highest quality. That’s why we place the highest demands on the entire development and production process: from the initial idea to the selection of raw materials and manufacturing processes through to the finished product.
We make sure that the plant-based raw materials are grown naturally and, where possible, in organic quality. Every delivery is checked for possible impurities and processed with care. Our team is constantly undergoing further training in order to improve existing recipes and provide our customers with the best possible information and advice.
How we make your products
Precise dimensions for the perfect recipe
In the first production step, the raw materials are carefully weighed. Each ingredient is precisely measured out in order to prepare the exact quantity for further processing. This precise measurement is crucial to ensure the desired recipe and composition throughout the entire production process.
Optimal mix for full development
In this step, the previously precisely weighed raw materials, such as turmeric in this case, and other ingredients are mixed together. Precise weighing and thorough mixing are crucial to ensure that the ingredients are optimally harmonised and can fully develop their desired properties. This forms the basis for the subsequent production steps.
Careful handwork
The capsule filler has space for 300 capsules. These are prepared for filling by machine. Sometimes, however, they have to be adjusted by hand, as shown in the picture, as it can happen that a capsule is inserted into the cavity the wrong way round or has slipped. This ensures that the capsules are filled correctly.
Capsule filler in use
Now the capsule filler is ready for filling. The capsules have all been opened and sit precisely in the cavity – a crucial step to ensure consistent quality and accurate dosing throughout the production process.
Even filling
Use a scraper to carefully and evenly distribute the powder into the opened capsule halves. This ensures that each capsule contains the exact amount of active ingredients and guarantees a homogeneous filling – an important step for the quality of the end product.
Compressed for maximum active ingredient density
The capsule contents are then compacted using a hand press to create space for the right amount of raw material and ensure that each capsule is filled evenly and completely.
Sealing the capsules
In this step, the upper part of the capsules is placed on top and closed tightly. This creates a compact, protected unit that reliably preserves the contents and protects them from environmental influences.
Exact final check
Capsules from the edge and centre of each plate are weighed at random to guarantee uniform dosing and ensure high product quality. This ensures that the active ingredients are consistently present in each capsule and meet the highest production standards.
Care to the end
The freshly sealed capsules are now removed from the capsule filler and transferred to a container. Make sure that all capsules are undamaged.
Maximum cleanliness
Before the capsules are filled into the cans, they pass through a special cleaning system with an in-built metal detector, among other things. This meticulous process ensures that the capsules can be packaged completely residue-free and in immaculate purity.
Correct number of capsules in each can
Once the capsules have been cleaned, they are carefully filled into the product cans using the filling machine. This ensures that each can contains the correct number of capsules.
The final touch
In the final production step, the filled cans are precisely labelled with the expiry date and batch number. The labeller ensures that each product is labelled flawlessly – for clear identification and attractive presentation. As a result, the cans are not only convincing in terms of content, but also visually.
And here it comes..
We have a new mixer – as big as half a bathtub! With this capacity, we can mix much larger quantities of raw materials gently and precisely. A dream has come true, because your favourite products can now be produced even more efficiently. Now that’s great news! But just wait, there’s more to come..
Efficiency at the touch of a button
Our new capsule filling machine is even faster! It imitates the manual capsule filler and – unlike a fully automatic encapsulation machine – still manages without anti-caking agents and fillers. This is extremely important to us! Here you can see the new capsule ring, which is filled with 360 empty capsules within seconds using the machine. No more manual adjustment, because the capsules fit exactly into the cavities thanks to the high precision. More efficient and even faster!
Seamless filling
After mixing all the raw materials with the new mixer, they are poured into the funnel-shaped opening of the capsule filling machine. This allows the raw materials to enter the filling process directly and evenly, enabling smooth and fast capsule production.
Precise distribution
In the next step, the powder is evenly distributed over the filled capsule ring so that each capsule receives the exact filling quantity. This precise dosing guarantees consistently high product quality.
Final capping
Once the capsule ring has been evenly filled, the capsules are securely sealed under vacuum. Before the finished capsules are then filled into tins, a final, thorough cleaning is carried out with our cleaning machine.
Your product is ready for you!
And it’s that quick: In the final step, the capsules are evenly filled into the capsule tins using the filling machine and then labelled with the matching labels. Your favourite product is now ready and waiting for you!
Microbiological testing
We test all raw material deliveries for the following microbiological contaminants:
- Escherichia coli (E. coli)
- Coagulase-positive staphylococci
- Mould
- Yeasts
- Salmonella
For this purpose, we work together with our analytical partner laboratory: UFAGLaboratorien AG, Sursee.
Organic certification
kingnature is a certified organic company (company number 33745, see organic certificate). We are in the process of gradually converting our products to organic, depending on the availability of organically produced raw materials.
Production site and food safety
We have our own production site in the canton of Zurich. Our company is regularly inspected by the cantonal food inspectorate in Zurich. kingnature products are subject to federal regulations and are inspected by the cantonal laboratory (company number: 122073).
Hygiene and cleanliness
It goes without saying that we attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness. We are regularly inspected and certified as part of our operational self-monitoring and quality assurance.
Encapsulation
We encapsulate the products in our production facilities in Switzerland. We use high-quality vegetarian capsules (made from HPMC) without gelling agents and without excipients, additives or anti-caking agents.
What do we encapsulate?
We specialise in non-flowable materials, i.e. dry, powdery materials (e.g. dried herbs/leaves, etc.) that can only be encapsulated mechanically with additional effort. We encapsulate everything with a lot of manual labour and semi-automatic machines that work with a tamping technique. In this way, we get the maximum amount of raw materials into a capsule.
New products
New products are also developed, analysed and refined in our production facility. We are constantly striving to optimise the current compositions. We also work together with selected laboratories.
