L’incenso si ottiene dalla gommoresina degli alberi di incenso (Boswellia). Esistono oltre 20 specie di Boswellia. Per prosperare, gli alberi di incenso richiedono condizioni particolari, che si possono trovare solo in alcune regioni asiatiche e africane: assoluta aridità e terreni con una certa composizione minerale.
Per ottenerla si tagliano tronchi e rami. La linfa appiccicosa e lattiginosa che emerge si asciuga lentamente all’aria formando una massa viscosa, la resina dell’incenso (olibano). Viene raccolta dopo alcune settimane. Per ottenere una buona qualità, è necessario un periodo di attesa più lungo; la qualità migliora e diventa più pura con il passare del tempo.
Per migliorare ulteriormente il prodotto, Boswellia Vida contiene altri ingredienti selezionati oltre all’estratto di Boswellia serrata di alta qualità.
La lecitina di girasole contiene il 20% di fosfatidilcolina. Le lecitine influenzano la permeabilità di una membrana (pelle, mucosa). Secondo uno studio*, l’assorbimento e la biodisponibilità degli ingredienti lipofili (solubili nei grassi) aumentano con l’aggiunta di lecitine come emulsionante.

L’encens est obtenu à partir de la gomme-résine des arbres à encens (Boswellia). Il existe plus de 20 espèces de Boswellia. Pour prospérer, les arbres à encens ont besoin de conditions particulières, que l’on ne trouve que dans certaines régions d’Asie et d’Afrique : une sécheresse absolue et un sol présentant une certaine composition minérale.
Des troncs et des branches sont coupés pour l’obtenir. La sève laiteuse et collante qui en sort sèche lentement à l’air pour former une masse visqueuse, la résine d’encens (oliban). Elle est recueillie au bout de quelques semaines. Pour une bonne qualité, il faut attendre plus longtemps ; la qualité s’améliore et devient plus pure avec le temps.

Frankincense is obtained from the gum resin of frankincense trees (Boswellia). There are over 20 species of Boswellia. Frankincense trees require special conditions to thrive, which can only be found in certain Asian and African regions; absolute dryness and soil with a certain mineral composition.
Trunks and branches are cut to obtain it. The sticky, milky sap that emerges slowly dries in the air to form a viscous mass, the frankincense resin (olibanum). It is collected after a few weeks. For good quality, it requires a longer waiting period; the quality improves and becomes purer over time.
To further enhance the product, Boswellia Vida contains other selected ingredients in addition to the high-quality Boswellia serrata extract.
Lecithin from sunflowers contains 20% phosphatidylcholine. Lecithins influence the permeability of a membrane (skin, mucous membrane). The absorption and bioavailability of lipophilic (fat-soluble) ingredients is increased by the addition of lecithins as an emulsifier according to a study*.

Zur Gewinnung werden Stämme und Äste angeschnitten. Der darauf austretende klebrig-milchige Pflanzensaft trocknet an der Luft langsam zu einer zähen Masse, dem Weihrauchharz (Olibanum). Es wird nach einigen Wochen eingesammelt. Für eine gute Qualität benötigt es eine längere Wartezeit, die Qualität wird mit der Zeit immer besser und reiner.
Um das Produkt weiter aufzuwerten, sind in Boswellia Vida neben dem hochwertigen Extrakt aus Boswellia serrata weitere ausgewählte Inhaltsstoffe enthalten.
